The use of polythene is increasing with alarming rate and it’s the high time to stop it. Else get prepared for dark future or no future at all.

Few simple facts about polythene

• Polythene is not biodegradable
• Polythene threatens the life in the water bodies. The polythene articles (e.g. six pack rings) affects the survival of animals the aquatic and marine eco systems.
• Polythene is also likely to clog the drains causing problems in the water flow of the pipes. The pipe blockages would cause flooding and the free flow of water is disturbed.
• Polythene is harmful for animals if swallowed. It can accumulate in the bowels which ultimately becomes lethal to the animal.
• In most households poly bags are used to preserve food items. Reused bag may be contaminated by materials harmful to human health.

It’s   good that many hospitals, hotels, shops and people opposing the use of polythene and I just want the law to ban its uses in country because we share a single globe. Let’s promise to stop its uses and make a beautiful environment for living.
