DBT (Department of Biotechnology)– Junior Research Fellowships: Granted Via conducting a exam called -Biotechnology Eligibility Test (BET) for M.Sc biotech students with 60% marks; fellowship can be taken in any University/Institute in India where the candidate get him/herself registered for PhD; Fellowship is for 3 years extendable for 2 more years based on performance. By the end of second year, JRF is upgraded to SRF after assessment.
